Membership
Branch Members
The first branch of the Mothers' Union in Wales was formed in our diocese at Llandrindod Wells, in 1884, and there are now 45 branches with about 1300 members.
Indoor members
These are members who can no longer attend branch meetings because they are housebound through age, illness or because they are carers. These Members receive Christmas and Easter Greetings and the Diocesan Newsletter. They provide prayerful support for the ongoing work of MU in the diocese.
Diocesan members
Diocesan Members may be people who do not wish to (or are unable to) be part of a group and attend meetings but who would like to support the work of Mothers' Union.
How can I become a Diocesan member?
You need to complete an application form which is returned to the Diocesan membership representative with a subscription fee.
What do I get?
You will receive regular mailings, which include:

- Invitations to MU events in Swansea and Brecon
Diocesan members host the Monthly Eucharist Services once or twice a year, by reading the lessons and intercessions. Social gatherings will be held specifically for Diocesan Members.
